A Day in Helpdesk

I raised a request to configure my laptop to access our Client's WiFi when we were supporting at Client's office.

* Helpdesk = HD
HD : Harlo, you raise a ticket to configure your wireless right?

Me: Yup.

HD : You want to access from here or there ar?

Me: I applied for WiFi at client office right?

HD : A... ya lar, so you accessing from here or there ar?

Me : Does that client have the Measat type of satellite transmitter?

HD : No.. what's that got to do with the question?

Me : Cause I doubt that I can access Client's WiFi from our office without that transmitter.

HD : Oh...so, you want to access it from here or there ar?

Me : **foam in mouth**

**PLS believe that the above really happen, the only variation is that I am not as nasty as telling our cute Helpdesk on the satelite thing.. I corrected her nicely and give her a book on telecommunications 101.

I also faced the same thing in my company... im starting to believed "some" of those new recruits either are too lazy to think for themself or they are too often spoon-feed to a level where they cant think for themself..... *sigh* ... i understand how u feel... seriously
